PAYMENT AND CONTRACT

All bookings will require a 50% deposit. The deposit amount will be shown before your appointment is confirmed in the booking system. Deposit payments can be made by debit or credit card at checkout. Any contract deemed to have been created via transacting with this web site will be made with GIGI’S NAILS ISLAND

REFUNDS/ REPAIR POLICY

At GIGI’S NAILS ISLAND my mission is to provide the highest quality experience and treatments. However should you encounter any issues, I operate a 4 day repair policy for any gel polish treatments and a 3 day repair policy for any Ordinary polish treatments.

I will repair any damage that I deem to be as a result of my application free of charge.

Please send me a Whats App message with a photo of the issue and I will contact you to arrange a time to complete the repair.

CANCELLATIONS & LATE ARRIVAL

GIGI’S NAILS ISLAND has a 24 hour cancellation policy for all appointments.

I’m happy to reschedule or cancel your appointment if more than 24 hours notice has been given and 100% of deposit money received will be refunded.

Cancelling a booking within 24 hours of scheduled appointment time or a no show will result in the loss of your appointment and your deposit will not be refunded. Should you cancel or not arrive for a booked appointment twice,I will request a full payment upfront for any future bookings.

If you arrive 10 or more minutes late for an appointment, your service will be subject to change. We adhere to a strict treatment schedule and reserve the right to cancel part or all of your treatment.

AFTERCARE

I take huge pride in my work and take every care that you will leave my salon with a set of nails that will last, however it’s important you look after them in-between treatments too. I will let you know all top tips for after care and manicure longevity and you can find a summary below. I strongly recommend you read and follow this guidance.

I cannot guarantee my work in circumstances where aftercare advice hasn’t been followed.

GIGI’S NAILS ISLAND AFTERCARE ADVICE

WEAR GLOVES: when you’re washing up, cleaning, gardening or handling highly pigmented foods like turmeric or beetroot to avoid staining

NOURISH: keep your cuticles and hands hydrated by massaging in cuticle oil and use a hand moisturise daily (we recommend before bed). You can purchase CND Cuticle Oil and CALLUX ManiPedi Cream after your treatment

DON’T PICK: do not pick or peel off your gel polish as this can cause damage to your nails. We recommend you book a removal treatment instead of DIY

WEAR & TEAR: avoid using your nails to open ring pulls and boxes etc.

REGULAR TREATMENTS: so I can help ensure your nails keep strong, healthy (and Looking amazing), I recommend you book regular maintenance appointments every 2 – 3 weeks. Pedicure 4-6 weeks.

AVOID: where possible avoid long periods of time in water i.e. washing up or swimming and in hot environments such as a sauna or hot tub.

If any adverse reaction occurs such as redness, inflammation or a rash of any kind around the nails, please contact your GP immediately.

RIGHT TO CHOOSE

At GIGI’S NAILS ISLAND I value managing and take safety, health and well-being seriously. I don't tolerate rudeness or disrespect and have the right to refuse service to any customer who behaves inappropriately. I reserve the right to amend terms and conditions when necessary, with or without advance warning.

LOST OR DAMAGED PROPERTY

I ask all clients to look after their property during their time at salon.

GIGI’S NAILS ISLAND is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items. Please be aware that given the nature of my work and a busy working environment, clients are advised to take particular care of their belongings during treatments to minimise their risk of loss or damage to personal items including jewellery.

COVID 19

At GIGI’S NAILS ISLAND I’m committed to maintaining a clean, sanitised and safe environment for everyone. I will be wearing face masks and gloves throughout your treatment and each working space is thoroughly sanitised between appointments. All tools will be fully sterilised in sealed, sanitised pouches. Masks are optional for your own use in the salon.
